Description

This is an unpaid volunteer position where you'll provide compassionate support to hospice clients and their families. You'll assist with home management, emotional support, and other end-of-life tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Criminal background check as per state requirements
• Meet state requirements for volunteers
• Meet BAYADA requirements for discipline if providing professional services

Responsibilities

• Assistance with home management tasks
• Providing companionship and friendship to clients
• Providing caregiver relief
• Sharing special talents such as music or art
• Assisting with clerical work and office tasks
