💼 About This Role

You'll plan and lead meaningful programs that enhance residents' quality of life in a skilled nursing and assisted living community. You'll promote engagement and emotional well-being through group and one-on-one activities, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Plan and lead group, one-on-one, and self-directed activities for residents.
• Complete Life Enrichment Initial Assessments, MDS, progress notes, and care plans.
• Collaborate with Nursing, Social Services, Dietary, and Rehabilitation departments.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents during personal stress or crisis.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in recreational therapy, psychology, social work, or related field preferred.
• At least two years of experience working with older adults in group or long-term care settings.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

✨ Nice to Have

• Certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist (CTRS).
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish or Cantonese).
