💼 About This Role

You'll lead fiber optic installation and maintenance at xAI's Memphis data center, ensuring network infrastructure runs flawlessly. You'll guide a crew, streamline workflows, and tackle complex challenges to power AI research. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead datacenter installation projects and daily work assignments
• Provide on-the-job training and direction for team members
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install fiber optic systems
• Conduct inspections and maintain system records

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years experience managing teams (preferably data center cabling technicians)
• 3+ years direct data center experience installing and routing optical fiber in large scale Tier 3 or 4 facilities
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs and work at heights up to 50 feet

✨ Nice to Have

• Certification in fiber optics and/or cable installation
• Experience in fiber splicing
• Experience installing structured cabling in hyperscale data centers
