💼 About This Role

You'll design and build high-performance backend systems that support AI-driven workflows and large-scale data processing for a trust and safety startup. You'll own features end-to-end and contribute to technical decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services in Python
• Architect APIs and microservices with clean abstractions
• Work with large datasets and async processing pipelines
• Optimize performance, reliability, and observability

📋 Requirements

• 3–7 years of backend engineering experience
• Production experience in Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask)
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex)
• Deploying services on AWS or major cloud provider
• Building or integrating AI agent systems
