💼 About This Role

You'll serve as Dean of Students at Pattengill Biotechnical Magnet School, a PreK-8 building in the Lansing School District. You'll oversee instructional time and student support during the summer program, working 3.5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday. This role is onsite in Lansing, MI with a consistent schedule from June 15 to August 6.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Supervise student behavior and discipline during summer school hours.
• Coordinate daily instructional schedules and staff coverage.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student needs.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for students.

📋 Requirements

• Valid Michigan teaching or administrative certification.
• Experience working in a school setting with PreK-8 students.
• Availability for 8 weeks Monday-Thursday 8:30am-12pm.
• Internal applicants in aligned bargaining unit preferred.

• Previous experience as a Dean of Students or administrator.
• Familiarity with biotechnical or magnet school programs.
