You'll join M-KOPA's Credit Eligibility team to shape credit risk and eligibility decisions for millions across Africa, directly influencing who gets loans and on what terms. Your analysis will drive financial inclusion through rigorous data science, impacting over 7 million customers. This role offers the chance to work at unprecedented scale with 2 million daily payments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze repayment data to improve credit scorecards and eligibility criteria
• Refine loan pricing based on credit analysis and customer behavior
• Test new loan types to understand demand and credit performance
• Monitor credit performance to detect risk shifts and quantify margin impact

📋 Requirements

• Strong statistical modelling and quantitative analysis skills
• Experience in credit, underwriting, or lending analytics
• Fluency in Python and SQL for data analysis
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies

• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams
• Familiarity with machine learning models for loan eligibility
