💼 About This Role

You'll facilitate a summer camp for kindergarteners from refugee and immigrant families in Tacoma. You'll plan and teach kindergarten readiness lessons and coordinate field trips and parent engagement. This temporary part-time role runs August 10-14, 2026.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Refine kindergarten readiness curriculum and schedule.
• Lead implementation of process-based art activities.
• Administer assessments and complete data reporting.
• Supervise play-based learning activities for up to 20 students.

📋 Requirements

• 2 years formal experience with young children in early learning.
• AA or two years of college in related field.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid Driver's License and passing motor vehicle check.

• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Flexibility and adaptability to rapid change.
• Knowledge of Dari, Pashto, Ukrainian, or Spanish.
