Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to employee records, onboarding, and compliance preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and basic understanding of employment laws.
  • A 'can-do' attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Be proactive, forward-thinking, and question everything in a positive, inquisitive manner.
  • Desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Bamboo and Paylocity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and promptly respond to employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and deliver accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
  • Serve as the first line of engagement for employee requests, providing support and answers.
  • Take charge of maintaining and updating the employee handbook.
  • Help formalize and streamline HR processes.
  • Own the employee onboarding process for new hires.
