Description

As a Generator Technician at Pearce, you will service and repair commercial generators on cell phone towers in your region. You'll maintain, diagnose, and repair generators, install components, conduct performance checks, respond to alarms, and ensure safety compliance.

Requirements

• Two+ years generator maintenance experience preferred, minimum one year intensive experience
• Thorough knowledge of generator installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, moderate computer skills
• Familiarity with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, stand for long periods, drive long distances, work varied hours including on-call

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair commercial generators
• Install and replace components, fuel, and water lines, pumps, wiring, and controls
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance
• Respond promptly to power/generator alarms, on-call 24/7 as needed
• Adhere to safety practices and attend safety meetings
