Description

As a Firmware Engineer Intern at Neuralink, you will develop and optimize embedded software for robotic surgery applications, refine and retire legacy code, and participate in rigorous testing and peer reviews. You'll work on cutting-edge robotics and neuroscience projects.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development, preferably embedded systems
• Proficient in C, C++, or Rust
• Experience with MCU or FPGA bring-up
• Experience with ARM bootloaders and embedded Linux
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering and DSP

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize embedded software for robotic surgery applications
• Refine and retire legacy embedded software
• Rigorously test and validate software systems for safety and reliability
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Write drivers and applications for robotics hardware
