Description

You will join the Roblox Payments Foundation team to build and scale the bridge between real-world and virtual economies, designing and maintaining systems that process millions of daily payment transactions across all platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a secure, reliable payment experience for millions of users.

Requirements

• 4+ years backend software engineering experience with scalable systems (microservices, APIs)
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience debugging distributed systems
• Project management and cross-team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience or strong interest in payments domain

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale payment systems processing millions of daily transactions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, finance, and engineering teams
• Architect and maintain highly scalable and reliable services for global payments
• Manage integrations with third-party payment providers and internal systems
• Ensure payment solutions work seamlessly across all platforms (web, mobile, console)
