💼 About This Role

You'll join Airbnb's Engineering team to build the foundation for the platform, focusing on engineering efficiency, consistency, and quality. You'll work on projects spanning foundation, traffic, and data, collaborating with global teams. This small team offers the opportunity to either go broad influencing all foundation development or go deep on a single platform.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build services and APIs for web and mobile apps
• Work with data scientists to define and capture real-time event data
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to evolve build, test, deploy processes
• Develop data access and protection patterns for data security
• Maintain cloud infrastructure for Airbnb guests in China

📋 Requirements

• 2-4 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with BS/Masters
• Experience in building tools for internal use
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, C#, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Exposure to architectural patterns of high-scale web applications
• Experience with A/B testing and continuous integration

• Open-source contributions or coursework in relevant languages
