You'll design and optimize large-scale log ingestion and syslog infrastructure for a cybersecurity environment, building scalable, high-performance logging pipelines. Your core impact is ensuring reliable processing of massive event volumes with precision. This role combines deep syslog-ng expertise with SIEM integrations and distributed data pipeline engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and optimize high-throughput syslog-ng configurations
• Develop advanced filtering, routing, and parsing logic for log quality
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance (CPU, memory, latency)
• Troubleshoot ingestion issues (message loss, duplication, backpressure)

📋 Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise with syslog-ng and large-scale pipeline engineering
• Strong understanding of syslog protocols (RFC3164, RFC5424, TCP, UDP, TLS)
• Proven experience designing advanced filtering, routing, parsing strategies
• Experience handling high-volume event processing exceeding 10K-100K+ EPS
