💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the trusted legal partner for HR and senior leadership on employment law matters across Canada and the US. You'll build scalable legal frameworks for a fast-growing global finance automation company. This role offers the chance to shape international expansion and mentor junior team members.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Advise HR and leadership on employment relations and risk management
• Draft and negotiate employment contracts and settlement agreements
• Develop and implement enterprise-wide employment policies
• Manage employment litigation and agency proceedings

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of employment law experience in private practice or in-house
• Juris Doctor or Canadian LL.B./J.D. equivalent
• Employment litigation experience (wrongful dismissal, human rights complaints)
• Knowledge of US and Canadian employment laws
