💼 About This Role

You'll plan and execute purple team exercises aligned to real-world threat actors to protect Trade Republic's critical systems and customer data. Your work will ensure security controls are effective, not just active.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design attack scenarios covering initial access to exfiltration.
• Coordinate with teams to align testing with business risk.
• Develop and tune SIEM detections based on attack simulations.
• Validate detection coverage against known TTPs and identify gaps.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years as a Security Engineer with 3+ years in Purple/Red/Blue Teaming.
• Experience running purple team exercises in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of real-world attacker behavior.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS) and Kubernetes security.

✨ Nice to Have

• Multi-cloud experience (GCP, Azure).
• Experience with Google SecOps SIEM.
• Experience with SentinelOne or CrowdStrike EDR.
