💼 About This Role

You'll conduct archaeological field surveys and data collection across the Western US as part of a leading environmental consulting firm. You'll contribute to preserving cultural resources while working on diverse outdoor projects. This on-call temporary role offers the opportunity to work independently or as part of a team in challenging terrain.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct archaeological pedestrian surveys.
• Perform GPS data collection and site documentation.
• Complete subsurface testing and artifact identification.
• Prepare high-quality field notes.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology or related field.
• At least 6 months of archaeological field experience.
• Ability to hike 5-10 miles daily in difficult terrain.
• Experience with GPS units and map navigation.
