💼 About This Role

You'll analyze user behavior and product performance across web and API products at GPTZero, the leading AI detection platform. Your insights will drive smarter product decisions, improve engagement and retention, and ensure AI models deliver real value in production. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to define core metrics and run experiments.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze user behavior across web and API products to uncover insights and growth opportunities
• Define, own, and evolve core product metrics (activation, engagement, retention, accuracy)
• Design and analyze experiments to evaluate product changes
• Build dashboards and self-serve analytics for product and business decisions

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product data science or analytics
• Proficient with Python, SQL, and Pandas
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference
• Deep understanding of AI-powered products including model performance tradeoffs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience working closely with ML or research teams
• Experience with Databricks (PySpark) and Amplitude
