You'll own the development, qualification, and scaling of solar array manufacturing processes for high-power satellites at a Series C space startup. You'll drive material selection, process optimization, and failure analysis to ensure power and reliability across every orbit.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and qualify solar array processes including interconnects, bonding, and deposition
• Conduct DOE and statistical analysis to diagnose and correct manufacturing issues
• Lead failure analysis and root cause investigations for process anomalies
• Evaluate and select manufacturing equipment for in-house process development

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in materials science, chemical engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in materials and process engineering
• Proven track record of material decisions validated through flight hardware programs

• Master's degree or PhD in materials science or related field
• Experience architecting manufacturing processes for solar array systems across full lifecycle
• Hands-on proficiency with material characterization tools like SEM, EDS, FTIR
