Description

As a Game Designer at Cat Daddy Games, you will design new gameplay experiences, including events and mini-games, for free-to-play mobile titles like WWE SuperCard and NBA 2K Mobile. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization while analyzing player feedback to refine designs and keep our games competitive.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game design experience with focus on free-to-play mobile games
• Experience designing card-collecting, card-battling, or deck-building games is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable work experience
• Expert-level understanding of mobile game design including economies, data analysis, and back-end environments
• Proven ability to produce effective design documentation and collaborate with engineers and artists

Responsibilities

• Design new gameplay experiences including time-limited events, alternative game modes, and mini-games
• Pitch and prototype creative concepts aligning with player motivations and business goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance fun, difficulty, and monetization
• Build and maintain clear documentation, wireframes, and specs
• Analyze player feedback and data to refine designs and identify future content opportunities
