💼 About This Role

You'll lead engineering teams responsible for critical pieces of the Atlas Clusters Control Plane and Data Plane. Your work will directly impact MongoDB Atlas, our fastest-growing database-as-a-service product. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to build the roadmap and ship improvements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead teams of leads and individual contributors
• Collaborate with product management and senior leadership to design and ship improvements
• Ensure smooth and timely execution of projects with stakeholder visibility
• Participate in on-call rotation and customer escalations

📋 Requirements

• At least 5 years of people management experience
• At least 8 years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading teams that built and maintained large-scale systems
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Experience with distributed backend systems
• Cross-organizational collaboration experience
• Proven success designing, writing, testing large-scale systems
