Description

You will own the product roadmap for subledger and reporting infrastructure, bridging Accounting and Engineering to deliver scalable, compliant financial systems. You will define accounting-event schemas, lead reconciliation automation, and drive governance for month-end close and auditability.

Requirements

• 4+ years product management experience owning financial platforms or data products
• Hands-on accounting experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and external audits; CPA preferred
• Knowledge of financial systems, subledger to GL flows, journal-entry design, SOX controls, external audit processes
• Technical fluency: data models, ETL/DBT, SQL, API design
• Exceptional communicator able to translate accounting requirements into technical specs and influence cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting product roadmap: subledgers, accounting-event interface, journal-entry flows, GL/ERP integrations, reconciliation tooling
• Define subledger patterns and Accounting-Engineering interface: schemas, API contracts, domain boundaries, migration strategies
• Translate accounting policy and audit requirements into product specs, posting logic, SOX controls, engineering requirements
• Lead reconciliation strategy and automation: vendor evaluations, recon rules, automation for high-volume accounts
• Drive data lineage, quality metrics, SLAs, monitoring, remediation for critical reports and journal feeds
