Description

You will lead a team to build a brand new lending product from the ground up, collaborating with product and design to drive innovation and technical excellence, while ensuring operational efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineering Manager within a high performing Engineering organization
• 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery owning a highly visible and large technical scope
• In-depth knowledge of software architectures
• Experience building and managing large scale software applications in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• B.A. / B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Technologically savvy with modern tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes)
• Superb communication and creative problem-solving skills

• Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand business needs, growth objectives, and market dynamics
• Create a culture of innovation and technical excellence, encouraging experimentation and exploring new opportunities for company growth
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, automation, tools, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and quality
• Provide strong leadership to the engineering team, enabling a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the engineering teams, holding individuals accountable for their deliverables
