Description
You'll design and run **production-grade workloads** on Google Cloud, owning architectures that are secure, observable, and resilient. You'll turn platform standards into everyday practice through **tooling and documentation** while troubleshooting incidents and tuning SLOs. This role offers a chance to impact drug discovery infrastructure at a clinical-stage TechBio company.
Requirements
- 7+ years designing, deploying, and supporting production systems in the cloud with **Google Cloud Platform**.
- Hands-on experience with **CI/CD tools** like Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Argo CD.
- Strong proficiency in **Infrastructure as Code** (Terraform) and scripting/automation (Python or Go).
- Demonstrated expertise in core **GCP building blocks**: IAM, VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, GKE.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain GCP services like compute, storage, databases, and Kubernetes.
- Create automated pipelines and workflows using CI/CD tools for infrastructure and application changes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated guardrails; review changes for risk.
- Engineer VPC design, private connectivity, firewall policies, and least-privilege IAM.
