Description

You will provide onsite IT support for the VA Medical Center in Mather, CA. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software, as well as direct customer support and asset management.

Requirements

• Valid REAL ID or PASSPORT
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment
• Ability to travel up to 2 weeks every 6 months
• Experience with system administration and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with VA tools such as SCOM, McAfee, and ServiceNow

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and software
• Communicate with customers to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using ServiceNow
• Perform imaging, desktop support, adds/moves/changes, and provisioning of endpoints
• Perform system monitoring, analysis, and routine audits using SCOM and other VA tools
• Manage asset inventory, media sanitization, and equipment disposal/turn-in
