Description

You will resolve dynamics problems for Starlink satellites through analysis and test, including finite element modeling, vibration and shock testing, and signal processing. Your work ensures satellite structural integrity from ground transportation to on-orbit operation, directly supporting the world's largest satellite constellation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, or engineering
• 1+ years professional experience with dynamics preferred
• Hands-on experience with data analysis or hardware building preferred
• Experience with vibration and shock testing preferred
• NASTRAN and FEMAP experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Resolve dynamics problems through analysis and test
• Execute dynamic testing including pre-test analysis, sensor installation, data analysis, and model correlation
• Build finite element models
• Perform analyses using commercial and in-house codes and write new code
• Perform stress, fatigue, and other analyses to improve products
