Description

You will specialize in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining utility-scale central and string inverters (GE, Sungrow, Power Electronics) on large-scale solar farms. This role focuses on power conversion equipment and involves 100% travel to solar sites across the US.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years hands-on experience with utility-scale solar inverters
• Direct experience with GE, Sungrow, and Power Electronics inverters
• Experience on megawatt-scale solar farms
• Strong understanding of DC/AC power conversion and power electronics troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of OSHA/NFPA 70E safety standards

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair utility-scale inverters (GE, Sungrow, Power Electronics)
• Perform advanced inverter testing and commissioning support
• Conduct LOTO, insulation resistance (megger), IV curve tracing, and IR thermography
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance on inverter systems
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation
