Description

As a Lead Construction Engineer at SpaceX, you will oversee a team of construction engineers to design, build, and activate infrastructure for orbital launch capability of the world's largest rocket. You will lead and mentor direct reports, coordinate with operations teams, manage contractors, and ensure projects meet specifications, budget, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management
• 3+ years of professional experience in construction project management or construction engineering
• 5+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Experience with facility design software such as Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of construction engineers
• Coordinate with operations teams to define project requirements and prioritize timelines
• Prepare and coordinate capital expenditure processes
• Manage external contractors, including proposals and supplier selection
• Guide team through jurisdictional permitting and inspection processes
