💼 About This Role

You'll engage in a hands-on externship at Veterinary Emergency Group, learning from credentialed emergency veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll assist with triage, diagnostics, and inpatient care to explore emergency medicine as a career path.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shadow and assist with triage and outpatient visits
• Participate in diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care
• Practice skills from your school's proficiency checklist
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care

📋 Requirements

• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course requiring externship hours or skills
• Current rabies vaccination or titer
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg on your own and 40 kg with assistance
