💼 About This Role

You'll build the foundation of zaimler's cloud infrastructure as an early hire in our Bangalore office. You'll support customers across Asia-Pacific, ensuring systems scale globally. This role offers the chance to be a founding engineer shaping both company and product direction.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy secure, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Build and optimize compute systems for distributed frameworks like Ray and Kafka.
• Manage GPU resources and scheduling for ML inference and training workloads.
• Implement monitoring, security, and best practices for high-availability ML/AI systems.

📋 Requirements

• 3–10+ years of engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Terraform in real-world deployments.
• Experience with distributed systems like Ray, Dask, or Spark.
• Exposure to Kafka or equivalent MQ systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• GPU scheduling/optimization experience.
• Prior startup/early-stage build-from-scratch experience.
• Experience supporting ML/AI workloads in production.
