💼 About This Role

You'll play a key role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing spacecraft thermal systems for a company that manufactures satellite buses at scale. Your core impact will be developing thermal solutions that reduce cost and complexity while ensuring mission success.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop spacecraft-level thermal models using Ansys Thermal Desktop
• Design and optimize thermal control systems for avionics and electro-mechanical components
• Plan and execute thermal vacuum (TVAC) and thermal cycling tests
• Support thermal subsystem milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR)

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in radiative and conductive thermal modeling using Thermal Desktop
• Strong understanding of aerospace thermal control standards
• Experience selecting and designing thermal control hardware like heat pipes and heaters
• 1+ year of experience with thermal cycling and thermal vacuum testing

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with full-vehicle thermal vacuum testing and model correlation
• Familiarity with 2-phase spacecraft thermal control systems
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Matlab for thermal modeling
