Description

You will lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team to design, develop, and operate secure, scalable authentication and authorization services for Bugcrowd's product ecosystem. This role involves managing and mentoring a team of engineers, driving technical strategy, and ensuring alignment with security and compliance goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with high-scale backend systems.
• 2+ years of experience managing and leading a team of software engineers.
• Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and modern authentication/authorization frameworks (SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC).
• Strong understanding of security best practices and cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Manage team performance including hiring, goal setting, performance reviews, and career development.
• Develop and execute the long-term technical roadmap for the IAM platform.
• Oversee design and implementation of core identity services (user registration, login, MFA, SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC).
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams to integrate identity solutions.
