Requirements

• 8+ years designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin
• Extensive track record of developing highly available distributed systems with AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration
• Experience delivering major features or system components through technical and execution plans
• Writes high quality code that is easily understood and used by others

• Set technical strategy for your team on a year-long time scale
• Collaborate across teams in product development lifecycle
• Act as a force-multiplier through definition and advocacy of technical solutions and operational processes
• Own team's operations and availability with monitoring, triage, playbooks, and alerting
• Foster culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards
