💼 About This Role

You'll lead the organization's major giving strategy and manage a team of Major Gifts Officers to secure contributions of $1.25M+ annually. You'll build relationships with high-capacity donors and develop cultivation plans, while reporting to the VP of Development in a hybrid DC-based role with travel 10+ times per year.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage Major Gifts team, including setting goals and coaching staff
• Develop budgets and monitoring systems for major gifts fundraising
• Cultivate and solicit donors to secure leadership-level contributions
• Design and execute donor engagement events and campaigns

📋 Requirements

• Experience cultivating and closing five-, six-, and seven-figure major gifts
• Knowledge of 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) fundraising practices
• Managed and developed a team with strategic direction
• Ability to travel at least 10 times per year

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with ROI Solutions or Action Network CRM
• Familiarity with prospect research methodology
• Track record of leading organization-wide change initiatives
