💼 About This Role

You'll join a healthtech startup as the first SRE in the US, owning platform stability and releases during PST hours. You'll bridge infrastructure and code, handling incident response and improving operability with SLOs and observability. This role offers high autonomy in a mission-driven environment improving prenatal screening.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own US coverage for releases and incidents during PST hours.
• Bridge infrastructure and code by working on Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
• Drive incident response end-to-end with blameless post-mortems.
• Define SLOs, tune alerts, and improve observability.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering experience.
• Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS proficiency.
• Ability to read and patch code (e.g., Elixir) for triage.
• Experience with on-call for a 24/7 product.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA).
• Knowledge of Elixir or similar functional languages.
• Prior experience in a startup or high-autonomy role.
