Description

You will design and integrate advanced hardware for missile platforms, owning the full development lifecycle from concept to flight test. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop 3D models and 2D drawings, conduct simulations and analyses, build prototypes, and lead design reviews to ensure high-performance systems for complex, contested environments.

Requirements

• B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in air vehicle systems integration
• Familiarity with hypersonic missiles and military standards
• Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD software
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission systems into air vehicles
• Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components
• Conduct simulations and analyses including hand calculations and FEA to validate designs
• Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production
• Lead design reviews, define and execute hardware test plans, and support customer demonstrations
