💼 About This Role

You'll support design and development of audio and display systems for Apptronik's Apollo robot. You'll turn concept requirements into functional prototypes for visual and auditory user experiences. This role offers hands-on work with cutting-edge humanoid robotics in a fast-growing company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and prototype HRI-specific circuitry (LED drivers, display backlight controllers, audio front-ends)
• Select components for visual displays and audio systems
• Implement and test multi-layer mixed-signal PCBAs for audio/display interfaces
• Execute validation and test plans for HRI subsystems
• Collaborate with firmware and UX teams to troubleshoot hardware-software interactions

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years industry experience in audio electronics design
• Proficiency with Altium Designer
• Proficiency with bench testing equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators)

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of microphones, speakers, audio amplifiers, I2S, DSP
• Exposure to simulation tools (COMSOL, LEAP)
• Understanding of adaptive filtering, array processing, speech enhancement
