💼 About This Role

You'll own and evolve Zipline's datacenter infrastructure stack powering global autonomous delivery operations. You'll automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management for bare metal and virtualized systems, ensuring reliability at scale. This role offers hands-on impact across hardware and cloud-native technologies in a mission-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Evolve datacenter compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes stack
• Automate bare metal and virtualized provisioning and configuration
• Deploy and scale hypervisors, storage clusters, and containerized workloads
• Build automation workflows, dashboards, and tools for datacenter operations

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience at engineering-led companies
• Hands-on experience with datacenter operations: rack stack, networking, bare metal, hypervisors, Kubernetes
• Generalist mindset with broad technical knowledge and curiosity
• Ability to develop and enforce infrastructure best practices

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Background in safety-critical or high-reliability systems
• Prior experience scaling infrastructure in a fast-growing company
