💼 About This Role

You'll join a small finance team at a pivotal moment, owning day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable and expense cycles. Your reliable execution will enable the team to focus on close leadership and process improvement. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering hands-on involvement with AI tools like Claude and Copilot.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Deliver reliable execution of the accounts payable cycle
• Prepare and post journal entries for timely month-end close
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, prepaids, accruals, fixed assets)
• Process and reconcile credit card transactions in Airbase
• Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite

📋 Requirements

• Accounting degree (university or college level)
• 2-3 years of general accounting experience with month-end close
• Hands-on experience with expense and accounts payable cycles
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas)
• Experience with a cloud-based accounting system (NetSuite preferred)

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA designation
• NetSuite experience
• Experience with revenue and accounts receivable
