💼 About This Role

You'll lead multi-physics simulation and optimization of precision opto-mechanical systems for our Optical Tensor Processing Units (OTPUs). You'll drive simulation-led development of substrate stack-ups and materials to meet demanding thermal, mechanical, and reliability targets. This role offers the chance to work on a next-generation hardware paradigm that could define the next decade of AI infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Conduct multi-physics FEA for stress, strain, and warpage analysis
• Execute thermo-optical-mechanical simulations for material deformation
• Perform ageing and life-cycle simulations for material degradation
• Develop and correlate simulation models with empirical testing

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years experience in mechanical analysis and simulation
• Proficiency in ANSYS, Abaqus, or COMSOL for multiphysics simulation
• Expertise in substrate stack-up design and material interactions
• Strong understanding of CTE, elastic modulus, and thermal conductivity

✨ Nice to Have

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Physics
• Experience in opto-mechanical systems or electronics enclosures
• Familiarity with DFM/DFR and reliability testing
