You'll lead the daily operations of Arc Institute's IT department, ensuring reliability and scalability of technology systems. You'll serve as a key escalation point for infrastructure issues and a hands-on operator across core platforms. This role offers the chance to shape a strong operational support team in a cutting-edge nonprofit research environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Oversee daily IT operations and ensure systems and networks run smoothly
• Lead IT support teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service
• Define and monitor service level targets and review ticket queues
• Manage operational technology vendors and service providers
• Drive continual service improvement and update knowledge base

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
• 2+ years of experience managing direct reports
• Hands-on expertise with systems administration and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of hyperscaler environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting HPC or research computing environments
• Experience with observability tooling for enterprise monitoring
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira)
