💼 About This Role

You'll lead teams owning Benchling's authentication, authorization, and tenant lifecycle systems. Your work will directly shape how customers and internal teams use the platform securely and reliably. You'll drive Delegated Auth to general availability and expand granular permissions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of software engineers.
• Translate strategy into execution with quarterly plans and metrics.
• Define and execute roadmap with product management and design.
• Hold high bar for product quality and excellent technical decisions.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an engineering manager
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer and technical lead
• Track record of growing engineers into leaders
• Experience with authentication or identity management systems

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML
• Interest in biotech or life sciences
• Experience with observability tools
