💼 About This Role

You'll join the Video Platform team building critical infrastructure for Synthesia's AI video platform. You'll own projects spanning months, improving resilience and scalability of the video generation pipeline. This role offers the chance to shape the long-term direction of the team and work with proprietary AI technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain critical infrastructure for video generation
• Improve resilience and scalability of the video pipeline
• Develop monitoring and debugging tools for video pipeline
• Own multi-month projects, breaking down into iterative steps

📋 Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years at lead level
• Strong AWS experience
• Platform engineering experience building internal platforms

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in high-performing engineering team at scale
• Ability to work across the stack (BE with occasional FE)
• Previous leadership experience of smaller teams
