💼 About This Role

You'll launch Rocketship's first Orange County school in a two-year leadership fellowship starting with a planning year in an existing region, then serve as Founding Principal. You'll build an exceptional team, establish school culture, and lay the groundwork for a thriving multi-school region.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Serve as a Rising Principal in an existing school to master instructional and operational systems.
• Engage families and community partners to build trust and excitement for the new school.
• Lead student recruitment and enrollment strategy to meet targets.
• Build, coach, and retain an excellent founding team of teachers and staff.

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years of successful teaching experience in an urban elementary setting with demonstrated student growth.
• 2+ years in a leadership role (AP, Principal, or equivalent) coaching adults to drive student achievement.
• BA from an accredited university.
• Valid California teaching credential or ability to transfer.

• Experience in school founding or startup environments.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency.
• Administrative credential or enrollment in a credential program.
