As a Software Engineer L2 at Stripe, you will design, build, and maintain APIs and systems using Ruby, React, and TypeScript, collaborate on billing features, and ensure operational excellence through testing and on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 18 months experience
• 1.5 years experience with Ruby, React, TypeScript
• 1.5 years experience with SQL and API development
• 1.5 years experience in cross-team project leadership
• 1.5 years experience in production debugging and on-call

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and systems using Ruby, React, TypeScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build large-scale billing features
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and implement designs
• Write unit, functional, and integration tests to prevent bugs
• Participate in on-call rotation to debug and resolve production issues
