Description

You will design, prototype, test, and fly mechanical systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, from small subsystems to full aircraft assemblies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ground and flight testing while providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years experience
• Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software
• Experience in rapid design/prototyping environment
• Proficient in structural analysis and FEA

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design for unmanned aerial vehicles and systems
• Lead vehicle design from requirements through manufacturing and test
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of engineers and customers
• Participate in ground and flight testing
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship
