Description

You will design and implement tooling and fabrication aids for structural, mechanical, and fluid projects, working cross-functionally to improve safety, efficiency, and quality. Your role involves identifying new fabrication technologies, attending design reviews, and quickly resolving fabrication issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or other engineering discipline
• 1+ years of fabrication, assembly, or testing in production or test environment
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD software and 2D drawings
• Experience transitioning products from design to manufacturing
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Design and implement tooling and fabrication aids to increase build safety, accelerate timelines, improve quality
• Work cross-functionally to minimize safety risks and drive innovative solutions
• Identify and procure new fabrication technologies to enhance capabilities and reduce costs
• Attend design reviews and provide design-for-manufacturability feedback
• Disposition fabrication issues rapidly using engineering fundamentals
