Description

You will join a team focused on improving Airtable's critical product infrastructure, building systems that scale and enhance developer experience. You'll work on projects like replication for zero-downtime failovers, Kubernetes-based compute platform, and petabyte-scale data infrastructure.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of industry experience
• Experience in databases, distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, or data infrastructure
• Strong background in computer science (degree in CS or related field)
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, or Seattle area

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and lead significant improvements to Airtable's infrastructure across teams
• Work on systems-level problems in scalability, efficiency, reliability, and security
• Build clean, reusable, maintainable abstractions for engineers
• Take full ownership of infrastructure components including reliability, performance, efficiency, and observability
