💼 About This Role

You'll lead a technician team in assembling avionics harnesses for artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. Your work will directly impact production efficiency and quality for Vast's next-generation spacecraft. This second-shift role offers the chance to shape manufacturing processes in a rapidly growing space company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Organize and prioritize daily manufacturing work assignments for technician team.
• Lead work and safety culture, training and onboarding new team members.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for avionics systems for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to maintain rigorous quality control processes.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in a technical field, aerospace preferred.
• 3+ years of leadership experience guiding and managing teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with quality system AS9100 or ISO9001.
• High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.

✨ Nice to Have

• CAD software experience (e.g., Siemens NX) for reviewing designs.
• Experience creating manufacturing documentation like SOPs and Work Orders.
• Familiarity with IPC standards for avionics manufacturing.
