Description

You will design, plan, and implement outside plant projects for copper and fiber networks, including permitting, field coordination, and construction support. Your work ensures reliable telecom infrastructure while managing budgets and compliance.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Experience with OSP design and field measurements
• Ability to work with CAD and project management tools (e.g., FROGS, Varasset, SiteTracker)
• Valid driver's license for field coordination and travel
• Knowledge of permitting regulations and industry standards

Responsibilities

• Design OSP facilities for copper and fiber (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Develop project budgets, monitor costs, and conduct quality assurance inspections
• Prepare and submit permit packages to various agencies
• Coordinate with contractors and utilities for timely project completion
