You'll be the founding Data Scientist for a fintech initiative, designing and owning the core data science strategy for underwriting, fraud detection, and risk modeling from the ground up. Your work will directly influence real financial decisions tied to high-volume global app revenue streams. You'll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to embed data-driven risk intelligence into production systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own data science strategy for underwriting, fraud detection, and lead qualification.
• Build, validate, and maintain advanced machine learning models for financial risk.
• Develop anomaly detection and fraud prevention systems.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate risk signals into decision engines.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science in fintech, credit, lending, or payments.
• Strong expertise in fraud detection, underwriting, or risk modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python with production ML model experience.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning in financial contexts.
